Getting the result straight into your phone's photo library

Updated October 26, 2026 · Peelframe

Many people remove subtitles on a computer and then post the result from their phone as a Short or a Reel. Peelframe's Send to phone moves the result straight to the phone, with no cable or messaging app. Send to phone is a Pro feature.

How it is sent

The video goes straight from the computer to the phone over an encrypted connection. When the two cannot connect directly, the encrypted data passes through a relay server; the video is not stored on any server. Nothing is recompressed the way messaging apps do it, so the phone gets exactly the same file you would download on the computer.

On the computer

  1. When processing and the result checks are done, press Send to phone on the result screen.
  2. A QR code and a 6-digit code appear. Both work once, for 10 minutes.
  3. Keep this window open until the phone has received everything.

On the phone

  1. Point the phone's camera at the QR code and open the link. The receive page opens and connects.
  2. If scanning is awkward, open peelframe.com/receive in the phone's browser and type the 6-digit code from the computer screen. The Scan QR code button on that page works too.
  3. Progress shows while it receives. Keep the screen on.
  4. When it is done, press Save to Photos.

iPhone and iPad: tap “Save Video”

A web page cannot write to the photo library directly, so on an iPhone Save to Photos opens the share sheet. Scroll down and tap Save Video and it goes into Photos. If you closed the share sheet by mistake, press the button again.

Android: the Download album

On Android, Save to Photos downloads the video to the phone, where the Gallery or Google Photos app shows it. If you do not see it straight away, look in the Download album.

If it does not connect

Without Pro

Save the video with Download video, then move it by cable, AirDrop or a cloud drive. Messaging apps often compress video heavily, so use an original-quality option or send it as a file. Plans are on the pricing page.

Try it on your own video. Nothing to install, nothing uploaded.
